Job Summary

Appointment setters perform the primary role in creating leads for Agents and General Managers. They are constantly engaged to support the sales function of the Company (Corp) by making first contact with prospective customers or clients. The role also functions as telemarketing, scheduling and closing appointment day and time over the phone. Appointment setters work in call‑center environments, on an hourly basis, in a non‑exempt status.

Responsibilities

• Incoming Calls – take calls from prospective clients or customers and set appointments for agents to meet with each individual or couple.
• Outgoing Calls – make calls using provided lists (people who expressed interest through websites, email, direct‑mail coupons, or other approved marketing programs).
• Data Entry – code or enter data as appointments are made throughout the day.
• Call a predetermined number of prospective clients and introduce them to the company’s products or services.
• Set up a meeting or call between the potential customer and company agents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to pass essential background check requirements.

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially over the phone as the first point of contact.
• Ability to portray a pleasant, professional, and ethical image of the company.
• Strong attention to detail; document and provide all information required of the General Manager.
