Appointment Scheduler
About the role
As an Appointment Scheduler, you will be the crucial first point of contact, connecting our patients with the expert care they need and playing a pivotal role in their healthcare journey. Every day, you will expertly manage patient schedules, clarify instructions, and leverage technology to ensure seamless care coordination, all while offering compassionate support to diverse patient populations. Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls and schedule patient appointments.
- Conduct patient pre-certification to ensure coverage for appointments and medical care.
- Schedule tests, procedures, and referral appointments.
- Communicate with patients regarding appointments and instructions for procedures and tests.
- Collect insurance information and patient personal data.
- Collect fees such as co-pays and co-insurance.
Requirements
- High School GED or High School Diploma, upon hire.
- 2 years of related experience in a healthcare environment (preferred).

Pay
$18.15 - $25.63 per hour.
