Airport Curbside Concierge Check-in Agent

About the role

Bags, a Metropolis company, is seeking a Curbside Concierge - Airline Check-in Agent to join our team at a busy airport curbside location. This role involves handling and securing luggage, issuing boarding passes, and providing general information to passengers. The position requires a strong customer service orientation, familiarity with safety and security protocols, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle and secure luggage according to TSA standards
• Issue boarding passes and tag bags for airline passengers
• Provide general information about locations and flight information
• Offer assistance with check-in and weigh luggage
• Input guest information and charge for overweight bags
• Secure luggage immediately after processing
• Greet guests warmly and professionally
• Manage payments and answer telephones
• Organize and stock the Concierge desk
• Uphold client service guidelines and values
• Manage simple addition tasks

Qualifications

• At least 6 months experience in a face-to-face guest service position preferred
• Data entry and/or computer experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work afternoons and weekends
• Knowledge of the airline or travel industry preferred
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Must pass pre-employment criminal background screening and drug testing

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

• Follow company appearance guidelines
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
• Must be able to push luggage cages both empty and full
• Weather: Outdoors 100% of the time including all temperatures and types of weather
• No visible tattoos or body piercings
• Specific vision abilities required: Close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus

Additional Requirements

Schedule

This is a full-time position with flexible scheduling options.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $15.00/hr.
