Responsibilities
- Handling and securing luggage according to TSA standards.
- Issuing boarding passes and tagging bags for airline passengers.
- Providing general information to passengers about locations/directions and flight information.
- Offering a high level of customer service to airline passengers and clients.
- Ensuring compliance with safety, security, and dangerous goods procedures.
- Greeting guests warmly and assisting with check-in of luggage.
- Processing payment for bags as per airline requirements.
- Securing luggage and cages, and transporting them to the ASIG truck.
- Maintaining a positive and friendly attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Organizing and stocking the RAC desk.
- Answering telephones and addressing guest inquiries.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in the early morning rotation.
- At least 6 months experience in a face-to-face guest service position preferred.
- Data entry and/or computer experience preferred.
- Clear communication skills with guests and clients.
- Knowledge of the airline or travel industry preferred.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Pass pre-employment criminal background screening.
- Pass pre-employment drug testing process.
- Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs, push luggage cages, and perform tasks standing for up to 8 hours.
