We are committed to increasing access to patient-centric, affordable, and high-quality healthcare. This position supports the Department of Hyperbaric Medicine on-site in Long Beach.
Responsibilities
- Communicates in a proficient customer service manner when dealing with internal and external customers.
- Performs basic analysis and interpretation of data from various sources/applications used in reporting under the direction of the management team.
- Maintains confidential and proprietary sensitive information and files.
- Opens and organizes all incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Authors, designs, and distributes correspondence, memos, reports, etc.
- Coordinates, distributes, and inventories all program(s) supplies and materials.
- Coordinates, schedules, and prepares for complex activities such as multi-participant meetings, travel, and conference attendance.
- Performs data entry, scans documents, and prepares summary documents.
- Creates and modifies documents such as invoices, reports, memos, letters, and financial statements using word processing, spreadsheets, database and/or other applications.
- Schedules and organizes meetings including department meetings, patient satisfaction team events, operations, leadership, and case conferences as directed by the leadership team.
- Works with leadership and/or reporting team to gather, compile, enter, and organize data in the form of Excel spreadsheets and pivot tables for presentations, analysis, and dissemination.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' relevant experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook).
- Ability to type 65-70 WPM.
- Adobe: ability to import and export data and documents to and from MS Office applications.
- Organized, self-motivated individual with the ability to handle fluctuating volumes of work and prioritize to meet deadlines, including estimation of effort, time management, and developing realistic timelines for projects and tasks.
- Strong customer service skills for interpersonal interactions.
- Knowledge of principles and practices of basic office management.
Qualifications
- High School Education/GED or equivalent required.
- Associate's / Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/experience preferred.
Pay
Pay Range: $29.00/hour. Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities.
