About the role
The Administrative Assistant IV supports the Program Director and Associate Program Directors in the management and direction of the accredited residency or fellowship program. This position collaborates with various programs to ensure effective management of programmatic responsibilities, including long-term planning, recruitment, project development and implementation, database management, and communication with faculty, residents, and medical students.
Responsibilities
- Supports the Program Director and Associate Program Directors in managing the accreditation and operations of the residency or fellowship program.
- Collaborates with multiple programs to ensure continuous assessment, evaluation, and management of program responsibilities.
- Assists with long-term planning, recruitment efforts, and project development and implementation.
- Manages and maintains databases related to the residency or fellowship program.
- Communicates with faculty, residents, and medical students on various topics and issues.
- Coordinates communications between the program, staff, and clients.
- Supervises subordinate staff as needed.
Requirements
- Graduation from high school or equivalent education.
- Four years of progressively responsible relevant work experience, including experience in one or more of the following areas: providing administrative/program support to professional staff and management; performing secretarial duties in support of a manager; coordinating communications between the manager, staff, and program clientele; supervision of subordinate staff; researching information from internal and external sources.
- One year of experience as an Administrative Assistant III in Nevada State service.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.

Pay
Grade 29 Step 1, salary $50,153.76.
Schedule
Full-time, 40 hours per week.
