About the role
The Administrative Assistant IV supports the Program Directors and Associate Program Directors in managing and directing the accredited fellowship programs. This role collaborates with programs to manage various responsibilities including long-term planning, recruitment, project development, database management, and communication with faculty, fellows, residents, and medical students.
Responsibilities
- Assists Program Directors and Associate Program Directors in managing and directing accredited fellowship programs.
- Collaborates with programs to ensure effective management of programmatic responsibilities.
- Supports multiple programs with distinct requirements, assisting with long-term planning, recruitment, project development, database management, and communication.
- Manages and coordinates communications between Program Directors, staff, and program clientele.
- Supervises subordinate staff and performs secretarial duties as needed.
Requirements
- Graduation from high school or equivalent education.
- Four years of progressively responsible relevant work experience in providing administrative/program support to professional staff and management, performing secretarial duties, coordinating communications, supervising staff, or researching information.
- One year of experience as an Administrative Assistant III in Nevada State service.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.
Qualifications
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: providing administrative/program support to professional staff and management; performing secretarial duties in support of a manager; coordinating communications between the manager, staff and program clientele; supervision of subordinate staff; researching information from internal and external sources.
Skills
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
Grade 29 Step 1, salary $50,153.76.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday.
