About the role
The Administrative Assistant IV supports the Program Directors and Associate Program Directors in managing and directing the accredited fellowship programs. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with long-term planning and project development
- Coordinating communications between various stakeholders
- Managing databases and tracking programmatic responsibilities
- Communicating with faculty, fellows, residents, and medical students
- Collaborating across departmental programs
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Program Directors and Associate Program Directors
- Assisting with long-term planning and project development

- Communicating with faculty, fellows, residents, and medical students
- Collaborating across departmental programs
Requirements
Minimum qualifications include:
- Graduation from high school or equivalent education
- Four years of progressively responsible relevant work experience
- One year of experience as an Administrative Assistant III in Nevada State service
- An equivalent combination of education and experience as described above
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience in providing administrative/program support to professional staff and management
- Experience in performing secretarial duties in support of a manager
- Experience in coordinating communications between managers, staff, and program clientele
- Experience in supervising subordinate staff
- Experience in researching information from internal and external sources
Skills
Essential skills include:
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of program management and evaluation

Pay
Grade 29 Step 1, salary $50,153.76.
