About the role
The Administrative Assistant IV supports the Program Director and Associate Program Directors in managing and directing the accredited residency program. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with long-term planning, recruitment, project development and implementation.
- Managing a wide range of programmatic responsibilities including database management.
- Communicating with faculty, residents, medical students, other specialty departments, and external institutions.
- Collaborating with program leadership to ensure effective management of programmatic responsibilities.

Key responsibilities include:
- Providing administrative/program support to professional staff and management.
- Performing secretarial duties in support of a manager.
- Cooking communications between the manager, staff, and program clientele.
- Supervising subordinate staff.
- Researching information from internal and external sources.
- Carrying out required duties in collaboration with counterparts.
Requirements
Minimum qualifications include:
- Graduation from high school or equivalent education and four years of progressively responsible relevant work experience.
- One year of experience as an Administrative Assistant III in Nevada State service.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience in providing administrative/program support to professional staff and management.
- Experience in performing secretarial duties in support of a manager.
- Experience in coordinating communications between managers, staff, and program clientele.
- Experience in supervising subordinate staff.
- Experience in researching information from internal and external sources.
- Experience in carrying out required duties in collaboration with counterparts.
Skills
