Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing, using proper grammar and vocabulary.
  • Understand the requirement to maintain confidentiality concerning charter school related matters.

Requirements/Environmental Conditions

  • Requires prolonged sitting or standing.
  • Occasionally requires physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push objects or materials.
  • Requires the ability to work in noisy and crowded environments, and around high-voltage and pressurized refrigerant systems.
  • Occasionally requires stooping, bending, kneeling, or reaching, including work on rooftops, lifts, and in confined mechanical spaces.
  • Requires some traveling between district campuses.

Essential Performance Responsibilities

  • Pursue the vision and execute the mission of iLearn Schools Inc.
  • Serve as a contributing member of the iLearn Schools' Central Office Team.
  • Support and promote board and administrative initiatives and decisions.
  • Display the highest ethical and professional behavior in working with personnel and outside agencies associated with the charter school.
  • Maintain professional competence and continuous improvement through professional growth.
  • Adhere to federal statutes and regulations, New Jersey school law, New Jersey Department of Education rules and regulations, iLearn Schools Inc. policies, procedures and contractual obligations.
  • Follow affirmative action procedures.
  • Attend HR Team meetings.
  • Maintain an HR email account and all email communications.
  • Answer all phone calls.
  • Complete employment verifications.
  • Review forms on Frontline Central.
  • Enroll new hires into benefits plans-medical, dental, life insurance, AAE, STD.
  • Unenroll all terminated employees.
  • Complete employee transfers.
  • Upload necessary documentation to Frontline and HR file.
  • Upload all documents to Frontline Central employee profiles.
  • Reconcile Business Office invoices with current employee list on semi-monthly basis.
  • Maintain a personnel database regarding benefits.
  • Report to department supervisor regarding daily activities and issues.
  • Address and resolve employee complaints relating to all HR related issues.
  • Implement and maintain best Benefits administration practices to improve efficiency.
  • Use excellent written and oral English skills when communicating with colleagues.
  • Answer email correspondence promptly.
  • Complete in a timely fashion all records and reports as required by law and regulation or requested by the department leader.
  • Perform any other duties within the scope of his/her employment that may be assigned.
