Administrative Assistant/Coordinator- TIR
About the Role
Assists in the completion of the department’s daily operations by performing assigned tasks, various office functions, and duties in an accurate and timely manner to ensure the smooth and organized running of the department.
Responsibilities
- Maintain filing systems, handle incoming/outgoing faxes, and distribute U.S. and interoffice mail/reports with accuracy
- Run and prepare necessary reports
- Organize, purchase, and keep inventory of office supplies
- Prepare expense vouchers
- Perform basic data entry
- Assist other office personnel with additional projects as needed
- Monitor and/or back up telephone switchboard
- Participate, initiate, or audit lean projects

Qualifications
- Ability to accurately type a minimum of 50 wpm
- Good working knowledge of English, grammar, punctuation, spelling, and style
- Ability to operate standard office machines
- Knowledge of efficient office procedures
- Ability to answer telephones and greet the public in a friendly and courte manner
- Ability to speak in a clear and understandable manner and write legibly
- High school graduate or equivalent
- One (1) year of clerical work experience
