Alaska Dialysis is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support daily administrative operations at its dialysis clinic in Soldotna, Alaska. This position works closely with clinical staff, patients, and clinic management and requires professionalism, discretion, organization, and initiative.
About the Role
The ideal candidate has previous administrative experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle confidential information while working with limited supervision.

Responsibilities
- Maintain manuals, files, records, and other administrative materials.
- Handle routine correspondence and confidential information with tact and discretion.
- Generate, assemble, and distribute reports.
- Assist clinic management with payroll-related activities.
- Process paperwork for new hires.
- Maintain accurate and organized administrative records.
- Communicate regularly with clinical staff and patients.
- Support day-to-day clinic administration.
- Complete additional administrative duties as assigned.
- Work independently while exercising sound judgment and initiative.
Requirements
- High school diploma plus additional business, community college, or specialized training.
- Previous administrative experience required.
- Healthcare environment experience strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Experience using word-processing and spreadsheet applications.
- Ability to use standard office equipment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to understand and effectively carry out assigned responsibilities.
- Leadership skills and a mature, professional approach.
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
Physical Requirements
The position may require:
- Extended periods of standing, sitting, walking, bending, and stooping.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to perform routine office and clinic-related physical activities.

Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–3:00 PM
