Responsibilities
- Prepares service calls, schedules, and dispatches service work to Field Customer Service Representatives.
- Maintains various records including transportation reports, cathodic and leak reports, final notices and disconnects, time and expense reports, material usage reports and summaries, weather, damage prevention forms, home energy audit requests, and meter history records.
- Maintains appropriate customer accounting records including managers fund accounts, cash receipts, and bank deposits.
- Maintains appropriate material handling records including purchase requisitions, material receiving records and transfers, inventory, and material catalogs.
- Performs various stenographic and clerical duties including typing, opening mail, filing, radio and telephone communications.
- Receives payments of gas bills and miscellaneous invoices, prepares bank deposits, and maintains petty cash funds.
- Maintains a neat personal appearance and continuously strives to promote improved customer, employee, and public relations.
- Maintains Company manuals, tariffs, and other records in compliance with the Kentucky Public Service Commission and/or other regulatory agencies and is familiar with the rules and regulations of the Company and regulatory agencies.
- Attends schools, training sessions, and seminars as necessary to fulfill assigned job responsibilities.
- Performs any and all other duties assigned by authorized personnel.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous office and clerical work and experience dealing with the public is preferred.
