Adjunct Instructor of Financial Accounting for Health Care Organizations

About the role

The USC Sol Price School of Public Policy is seeking a working professional with expertise and a primary position in legal and regulatory issues in health care. The successful candidate should possess a Master’s degree or doctorate in accounting, finance, business economics, or a closely related field.

Responsibilities

• Deliver course content
• Schedule office hours and be accessible to students as appropriate
• Grade students
• Provide students with a syllabus outlining the course goals, schedule, and all requirements for the course under the direction of the Department Chair

Requirements

• Possess a Master’s degree or doctorate in accounting, finance, business economics, or a closely related field
• Teaching experience preferred
• Excellent teaching evaluations

Qualifications

• Expertise in financial accounting with emphasis on healthcare
• Understanding of accounting systems
• Ability to communicate basic financial accounting terms
• Experience analyzing financial statements and performance

Skills

• Effective communication skills
• Ability to manage time effectively
• Strong organizational skills

Benefits
