About the role
The USC Sol Price School of Public Policy is seeking a working professional with expertise and a primary position in legal and regulatory issues in health care. The successful candidate should possess a Master’s degree or doctorate in accounting, finance, business economics, or a closely related field.
Responsibilities
- Deliver course content
- Schedule office hours and be accessible to students as appropriate
- Grade students
- Provide students with a syllabus outlining the course goals, schedule, and all requirements for the course under the direction of the Department Chair
Requirements
- Possess a Master’s degree or doctorate in accounting, finance, business economics, or a closely related field
- Teaching experience preferred
- Excellent teaching evaluations
Qualifications
- Expertise in financial accounting with emphasis on healthcare
- Understanding of accounting systems
- Ability to communicate basic financial accounting terms
- Experience analyzing financial statements and performance
Skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Strong organizational skills
