Responsibilities
- Cook up the accounts payable process utilizing our AP automation software.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, manage invoice workflow, review invoices for coding accuracy, process invoices for payment, and coordinate payment timing with the Senior Accounting Manager.
- Support the accounts receivable workflow by accurately preparing and distributing client invoices, maintaining regular communication with clients regarding account status, and proactively executing payment collection efforts to resolve outstanding balances.
- Prepare and record various journal entries including cash activity, accruals, and other month-end activity.
- Absorb the month-end close, including posting journal entries, reconciliations of accounts and subledgers to the General Ledger.
- Complete various Balance Sheet and Income Statement analysis to be used by management in monthly and quarterly financial statement reviews.
- Process monthly credit card statements and allocation of expenses.
- Aid in audit requests.
- Aid in the preparation of annual 1099 filings.
- Perform other ad hoc analysis as may be required by management.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- 0-3 years related work experience.
- Team player with great attitude, eager to learn, self-starter.
- Possess excellent organizational, communication and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Excel skills.
- NetSuite and Ramp experience a plus.

Pay
Salary range for this position is around $54k-58k, depending on experience.
Schedule
This position has a hybrid schedule, requiring a minimum of 3 days in the NY office.
