About the role
This role involves providing care, support, and supervision to residents in addiction treatment and restorative justice programs.
Responsibilities
- Monitor residents and document behaviors
- Assist with housekeeping and supplies
- Administer medications and support residents' treatment goals
- Respond to emergencies and lead educational activities
- Help with meal preparation and transport residents
- Perform basic first aid
- Work independently, problem-solve, and collaborate with a team
- Attend required training sessions
- Support and serve as a positive role model for residents
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Assist with daily living activities and life skills education
- Conduct health assessments
- Respond effectively to crises and emergencies
- Transport residents and lead group activities
- Perform basic first aid and other assigned duties
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Coursework in social work or related fields preferred
- Previous experience is a plus
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's license preferred
- DHS 83 training preferred
- Additional certifications required post-hire
