About the role
This position involves assisting in grading assignments, proctoring final exams, invigilating tests and exams, holding tutorials and office hours, and performing other duties as assigned. The position requires being present on campus.

Requirements
A completion of a graduate degree is required. A strong academic background in Business Design, Business (e.g. MBA), Marketing, or related fields, along with industry experience, is preferred. Familiarity with strategic foresight and futures thinking is also preferred.
Qualifications
The class schedule may vary depending on circumstances, requiring candidates to be available and comfortable with both online and in-person courses. The sessional date of appointment is from September 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026.
Benefits
The salary range for this position is as follows:
- Apr 14, 2025: $53.31 plus 4% vacation pay
- Sep 1, 2025: $54.27 plus 4% vacation pay
- Jan 1, 2026: $54.27 plus 4% vacation pay
- Sep 1, 2026: $55.25 plus 4% vacation pay
Pay
The minimum hourly rate for this position is $53.31, with 4% vacation pay.
Schedule
The position is based on the campus where the position is located. The duties are intended to be performed at the campus on which the position is located. The hiring criteria for Teaching Assistant positions are academic qualifications, the need to acquire experience, previous experience, and previous satisfactory employment under the provisions of this collective agreement.
