About the role

You will assist in grading assignments, proctoring the final exam, invigilating tests and exams, holding tutorials and office hours, and performing other duties as assigned. This position requires in-person attendance.

• Hold tutorials and office hours
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Graduate degree with experience and familiarity with a human-centered design innovation process (e.g., Business Design, Integrative Thinking, Design Thinking)
• Ideally, participation in Rotman Business Design courses or activities (e.g., Business Design Practicum, Design Study Tour, Business Design Boot Camp, Business Design Challenge)
• Ability to be flexible and adaptive to live business challenges
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Interest in learning how to facilitate studio-based class format
• Prior TA experience is an asset
• Must be available for both online and in-person courses depending on circumstances

The need to acquire experience is the more relevant criterion than previous experience for this position.

Schedule

Sessional date of appointment: September 1, 2026 - December 31, 2026

Courses may be online or in person depending on circumstances.

Pay

• Apr 14, 2025: $53.31/hour plus 4% vacation pay
• Sep 1, 2025: $54.27/hour plus 4% vacation pay
• Jan 1, 2026: $54.27/hour plus 4% vacation pay
• Sep 1, 2026: $55.25/hour plus 4% vacation pay
