About the role
The role involves assisting in grading assignments, proctoring final exams, invigilating tests and exams, holding tutorials and office hours, and performing other duties as assigned. The position requires being present on campus.

Requirements
A graduate degree with a strong academic background in Accounting is required. Familiarity with the course materials and supporting educational concepts is necessary. Previous SIA experience and/or applicable applied industry experience is preferred. A completed or in-progress CPA designation is considered an asset.
Qualifications
Candidates must be available and comfortable with both online and in-person classes. The sessional date of appointment is from September 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026.
Benefits
The salary starts at $53.31 per hour on April 14, 2025, with a 4% vacation pay. The salary increases to $55.25 per hour on September 1, 2026, with the same vacation pay.
Pay
The minimum hourly rate is $53.31 plus 4% vacation pay starting from April 14, 2025, and increases to $55.25 plus 4% vacation pay on September 1, 2026.
Schedule
Courses may be either online or in person, depending on the circumstances. Candidates must be available and comfortable with both formats.
