Workday Senior Certified Financials Consultant

About the role
UST is searching for a Workday Senior Certified Financials Senior Consultant. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of the Workday solution and fostering the development of other consultants by sharing expertise as a member of a deployment team. Key responsibilities include:
- Gathering and documenting client business requirements
- Designing and configuring the Workday solution
- Demonstrating configurations through prototype systems
- Assisting in testing the Workday solution and completing knowledge transfer to clients
- Working with the client/data conversion team to securely convert legacy data into Workday
- Leading discovery and FDM sessions with clients new to Workday, providing guidance and best practice suggestions for Chart of Accounts and organizational structure
- Ensuring functional solutions are compatible with downstream data extraction and translation
- Assisting or advising integrators in configuring functional business processes or objects for integration dependencies
- Providing relevant test scenario examples and demonstrating functional test case entry for robust integration testing
- Facilitating clients’ intellectual and practical adoption of Workday best practices
Requirements
- Current Workday Certifications for FDM and Financial Accounting
- 4+ years implementing Financial, Procurement, and/or Expense Management solutions
- CPA and/or advanced Accounting degree or equivalent work experience
- Previous consulting experience with a consulting/software company
- Previous experience deploying Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, or similar applications
- Demonstrated project management experience
- Passion for providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to effectively manage against timelines and goals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong business analysis and requirements gathering abilities
- Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training
Experience deploying multiple Financial projects simultaneously is a plus. Expected travel is +/-30% depending on project(s).
Pay
Compensation range: $81,000 - $122,000 per year, depending on factors including but not limited to specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience.
