This role is ideal for a highly experienced Workday Financials professional who can operate independently, provide functional expertise across multiple financial domains, and support both production operations and strategic enhancement initiatives. The consultant will serve as a key extension of the internal Workday team, partnering closely with Finance, Accounting, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions, resolve complex issues, optimize existing processes, and improve overall Workday platform effectiveness. This position requires a strong hands-on Workday Financials expert with deep experience in financial accounting processes, configuration, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration within enterprise environments. Required Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on Workday Financials experience with strong functional expertise. Proven experience supporting end-to-end financial processes within Workday. Strong expertise in Workday Financial Accounting (highest priority). Hands-on experience with:Workday Financial Accounting Workday Expenses Workday Business Assets Experience supporting both:Production support activities Workday enhancement/project initiatives Strong understanding of accounting processes, financial operations, and enterprise finance workflows. Ability to independently analyze complex business requirements and translate them into Workday solutions. Strong problem-solving skills with excellent systems-thinking capabilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and ambiguous environment. Experience owning multiple Workday Financials areas and managing competing priorities.
