Workday Report Writer
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Under limited supervision, the analyst will extract, compile, analyze and report institutional data on students, courses, personnel, finance and other aspects of the university as requested from Workday.
Report Development
- Design, develop, and maintain a variety of Workday reports, dashboards, and reporting tools, including but not limited to standard, custom, composite, and matrix reports, while adhering to business requirements and best practices.
- Query internal databases;
- Manipulate and evaluate data;
- Fill ad-hoc data requests;
- Prepare interpretive analyses and present findings in narrative and graphic forms;
- Effectively interact with the university community and external constituencies.

- Able to collaborate with internal customers and fellow analysts.
Experience and Certifications
- Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server & Excel.
- HCM Reporting Certification or Financials Reporting Certification preferred.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A) from an accredited four-year college or university.
- Minimum of 3 years experience with Workday reporting (HCM, Payroll, Finance, and Student).
