Job Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain simple to complex reports and dashboards within Workday, including Advanced, Matrix, Composite, metrics/KPIs and Dashboards using Workday Report writer, worksheets, Discovery Boards and Slides and other tools available.
- Maintain the catalog of available standard and custom reports, including calculated fields in related business objects.
- Optimize existing reports to improve efficiency and user experience.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reporting solutions.
- Work with HR, Finance, IT and other teams to understand reporting needs and translate business requirements into Workday reports.
- Provide insights and analysis to support decision-making.
- Identify trends and anomalies within HR data.
- Collaborate with HRIS and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of reporting solutions with Workday modules.
- Maintain Workday security settings related to reporting access and permissions.
- Perform rigorous testing of new and modified reports to ensure data integrity.
- Troubleshoot reporting issues and work with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
- Provide training and documentation on Workday reporting tools for HR and business users.
- Offer ongoing support and guidance on how to utilize reports effectively.
- Support audit and compliance reporting needs via Workday.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum three plus (3) + years of experience working with Workday Reporting tools.
- Experience in HRIS, HR, Payroll, or related data management functions.
- Experience supporting Workday modules such as Core HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Absence, Recruiting and Compensation.
- Proficiency in Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, Workday Prism, and Dashboards.
- Strong understanding of Workday data structures across Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Absence, Recruiting and creating and maintaining Prism data pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with proven ability to analyze technical and functional issues independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously and adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience with Workday Security, EIBs, and integrations.
Required Education
- Bachelor degree.
- OR Four (4) years of related work experience.
Preferred Certifications & Licensures
- Workday Reporting certification.
