Responsibilities
- Responding to and investigating incident calls regarding guests, employees, contractors, and other individuals on Toyota Center property during events.
- Working with staff members to write thorough and complete reports relating to incidents.
- Collect witness statements from both event staff and guests.
- Document information from incident scenes.
- Document photographs and video as it pertains to incidents that require reports.
- Attend event staff supervisor briefing before major events.
- Aid in providing a safe environment for event operations.
- Must be able to work 70% of the Toyota Center events each month.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Effective computer and report writing skills.
- Effective verbal and written communications skills.
- The ability to follow complex instructions and manage multiple tasks.
- The ability to work in a team setting and work alone with little direct oversight.
- Good sound judgement, being objective, being dependable, being in control of emotions, being customer service oriented, being a person of integrity, and being professional while carrying out duties.
- Experience with 24/7 incident management software is a plus.
Physical & Mental Requirements
- The employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk for an extended period of time; use handle or feel; reach; stoop; kneel; crouch or crawl.
- The vision requirement includes the ability to review written and electronic materials in both digital and physical format.
- Ability to receive detailed information through oral communications from guests, radios and overhead sound.
- Will be able to adjust to changing work hours and on-site locations as needed in light of the strong focus on external communications and relationships.
