Workday Compensation consultant
Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota or Charlotte, North Carolina (contract role, W2 only)
About the role
In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Business Execution. You will contribute to large-scale planning related to Business Execution deliverables, review and analyze moderately complex challenges, and collaborate with client personnel to meet deliverables. This role requires leveraging a solid understanding of function policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Business Execution.
- Review and analyze moderately complex Business Execution challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet deliverables.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to document and communicate business processes, requirements, data flows, and user experiences through clear and effective artifacts.
- Lead the analysis and design of automated merit increase enhancements within Workday Compensation Review (Advanced Compensation), delivering scalable solutions that align with business objectives and provide an intuitive, high-quality user experience.
- Drive planning, coordination, configuration, and testing activities to support successful product delivery and implementation.
Requirements
- 4 years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Experience with Business Requirement Documents, End-to-End Testing, Workday, and Workday Configuration (minimum 1 year).
- Deep expertise in Compensation and Advanced Compensation configuration within Workday.
- Ability to partner with business stakeholders to capture requirements, design solutions, and develop proof-of-concept configurations.

Pay
$55 – $60 per hour. The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
