Workday Compensation consultant

Position Type/Duration: 4-6 Months with possibility of extension
Location: Minneapolis, MN 55415
Schedule: Hybrid - 3 days onsite / 2 days remote, Monday–Friday standard hours
Pay range: $50–$53 per hour

About the role

Seeking a Workday Compensation consultant with deep expertise in Compensation and Advanced Compensation configuration. This individual will partner with business stakeholders to capture requirements, design solutions, and develop proof-of-concept configurations within Client's Advanced Compensation environment to validate functionality and business fit.

Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis and design of automated merit increase enhancements within Workday Compensation Review (Advanced Compensation), delivering scalable solutions that align with business objectives and provide an intuitive, high-quality user experience.
• Partner with stakeholders to document and communicate business processes, requirements, data flows, and user experiences through clear and effective artifacts.
• Drive planning, coordination, configuration, and testing activities to support successful product delivery and implementation.
• Create high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria that clearly define business needs and support Agile delivery teams.
• Track work, dependencies, and progress within Jira and Agile delivery frameworks to ensure transparent and effective execution.
• Mentor and influence team members by sharing expertise, providing guidance, and promoting best practices across the product team.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in the design, configuration, and administration of Workday Compensation Review (Advanced Compensation).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a passion for optimizing business processes and enhancing the user experience.
