Work Based Learning Program Logistics Specialist

About the role

AWS is seeking Logistics Specialists as part of its Work Based Learning Program (WBLP). This position involves reporting to a site location and participating in a 12-month work and training program in Northern Virginia facilities.

Responsibilities

• Vendor and team communication including data entry, coordinating with suppliers, and resolving inquiries from cross-functional teams
• Ensure accuracy and validation of all billing associated with inventory supply chain
• Assemble, address, stamp, and arrange for shipment of merchandise and materials
• Assist in daily scheduling of deliveries and pick-ups to and from production locations
• Keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of the company
• Traveling with a personal vehicle within the regional work area is required
• Successfully complete the 12-month Work Based Learning Program training curriculum, including all required safety certifications, technical competencies, and performance milestones

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years old
• Willingness to participate in shift rotations to support 24/7 data center operations

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
• Knowledge of computer hardware components and operating systems
• STEM classes or vocational course curriculum education

Pay

The starting pay for this position ranges from $21.00 to $37.00 per hour, depending on location.

Schedule

Shift work that includes days, nights, and weekends/holidays may be required.
