Work Based Learning Program Logistics Specialist

About the role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking Logistics Specialists as part of its Work Based Learning Program (WBLP). This position requires the successful candidate to report to a site location. Amazon has multiple WBLP trainee openings in 2026. Trainees will participate in a 12-month work and training program in Northern Virginia facilities.

Responsibilities

• Vendor and team communication including data entry, coordinating with suppliers, and resolving inquiries from cross-functional teams
• Audit and validate all billing associated with the Inventory supply chain
• Assemble, address, stamp, and arrange for the shipment of merchandise and materials
• Aid in daily scheduling of deliveries and pick-ups to and from production locations
• Keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of the company
• Traveling with a personal vehicle within the regional work area is required

Requirements

• Successfully complete the 12-month Work Based Learning Program training curriculum, including all required safety certifications, technical competencies, and performance milestones
• Pass all required safety certifications and technical competencies
• Work shift work that will include days/nights and may be required to work weekends/holidays
• Have a reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver's license to travel within the regional work area

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years of age
• Willingness to participate in shift rotations to support 24/7 data center operations

Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
• Knowledge of computer hardware components and operating systems
• STEM classes or vocational course curriculum education

Pay

The starting pay for this position ranges from $21.00 to $37.00 per hour, depending on location.

Schedule
