Work Based Learning Program Logistics Specialist
About the role
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking Logistics Specialists as part of its Work Based Learning Program (WBLP). This position requires the successful candidate to report to a site location. Amazon has multiple WBLP trainee openings in 2026. Trainees will participate in a 12-month work and training program in Northern Virginia facilities.
Responsibilities
- Vendor and team communication including data entry, coordinating with suppliers, and resolving inquiries from cross-functional teams
- Audit and validate all billing associated with the Inventory supply chain
- Assemble, address, stamp, and arrange for the shipment of merchandise and materials
- Assist in daily scheduling of deliveries and pick-ups to and from production locations
- Keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of the company
- Traveling with a personal vehicle within the regional work area is required
- Successfully complete the 12-month Work Based Learning Program training curriculum, including all required safety certifications, technical competencies, and performance milestones
Requirements
- High school or equivalent diploma
- At least 18 years of age
- Willingness to participate in shift rotations to support 24/7 data center operations
Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Knowledge of computer hardware components and operating systems
- STEM classes or vocational course curriculum education
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective work prioritization and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment

Pay
The starting pay for this position is listed below. Final starting pay will be based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
Schedule
Shift work that includes days/nights and may be required to work weekends/holidays. Traveling within the regional work area is required. Candidates should be willing to work both independently and with a team.
