About the role

The Wine and Restaurant Manager at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar is responsible for overseeing the wine and beverage program, ensuring high-quality standards, and creating memorable guest experiences. This role also involves managing the restaurant’s financial performance and fostering a positive, inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive high-quality employee standards by staffing the restaurant effectively, fostering an inclusive environment, developing department associates, and holding the team accountable.
• Implement effective security protocols to ensure the safety of both employees and guests.
• Create memorable guest experiences and connect authentically with guests through community outreach activities and events.
• Manage the beverage departments’ P&L, develop initiatives to increase sales, profitability, and guest count, and train associates on wine and beverages.
• Present quality food and drink by ensuring all menu items meet high standards.
• Enforce safety and sanitation practices by maintaining immaculate facilities.
• Leverage Principles & Beliefs to foster a passionate, inclusive culture among restaurant staff.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of previous polished casual or fine dining experience
• Minimum of 3 years prior salaried management experience
• Minimum of 2 years of managing a wine and beverage program in high volume environment
• Strong wine and beverage training experience
• Level I sommelier certification (preferred)
• Flexible availability
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Basic computer proficiency preferred
