About the role

The Wine and Restaurant Manager at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar is responsible for overseeing the wine and beverage program, ensuring high-quality standards, and creating memorable guest experiences. This position also involves managing the restaurant’s financial performance, training staff, and fostering a welcoming and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive high-quality employee standards by maintaining a fully staffed restaurant department, fostering an inclusive environment, developing department associates, and holding the team accountable in a constructive and supportive way.
• Implement effective security protocols to ensure the ongoing safety of both employees and guests.
• Create memorable experiences for guests and authentically connect with them, participating in community outreach activities and events.
• Drive restaurant results through management of the beverage departments' P&L, developing initiatives to build sales, increase profitability, grow the guest count, and foster learning of wines and beverages with the associates through extensive training programs.
• Present quality food and drink by ensuring all menu items are made according to recipe and presented at high standards.
• Enforce safety and sanitation practices by showcasing a passion for excellence and maintaining immaculate facilities.
• Leverage Principles & Beliefs to support a passionate culture of having fun, encouraging employees to live full, balanced lives.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of previous polished casual or fine dining experience
• Minimum of 3 years prior salaried management experience
• Minimum of 2 years of managing a wine and beverage program in high volume environment
• Strong wine and beverage training experience
• Level I sommelier (preferred)
• Availability to work a flexible schedule
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Basic computer proficiency preferred
