About the Role

Hughes Safety Showers, NA currently has an opening for a Western US Regional Sales Manager. This role is a gateway to opportunities for advancement within the organization, with the potential to grow in 3-5 years.

What You’ll Do

  • Visits, execute day-to-day call cycle management, using a wide variety of techniques from traditional sales methods to highly technical consultative sales techniques.
  • Stays in front of the customer (up to 80% of the time).
  • Initiates and coordinates development of action plants to penetrate new markets with cold calls, gaining company registrations and standards, and actively searching for new accounts.
  • Completes and executes against a regional sales plan that includes the activities of both the Regional Manager and Account Manager positions.
  • Develops plans to manage existing customer relationships while exposing new customers to Hughes products to grow new customers and markets.
  • Visits key accounts, representatives, and others to market new products.
  • Prepares presentations, proposals, and sales contracts.
  • Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
  • Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports for support.
  • Participates in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.

Skills and Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree and five years of experience preferred.
  • Proven experience in selling and sales management.
  • Experience working in a team environment, preferably with a small to medium-size company.
  • Proven experience managing current customers and engaging new customers.
  • Demonstrated results meeting performance metrics and leadership in project management.
  • Ability to navigate all work areas including but not limited to customer sites, office, and manufacturing plant.
  • Ability to travel approximately 60-70% of the time.

Additional Qualifications

  • Basic math and financial logic.
  • Computer knowledge including Microsoft suite.

Compensation

The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $110,000 to $125,000. Actual base salaries will vary and may be above or below the recommended pay range based on factors such as location, relevant experience, and performance. Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan to enhance their overall total compensation package when Justrite Safety Group and their business units achieve annual business and financial targets.
