Welding Adjunct - Fall 2026

Responsibilities
- Deliver assigned classes and/or labs
- Prepare lessons and provide course syllabi
- Verify student enrollment and submit grade sheets
- Prepare and enforce lab safety procedures
- Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback
- Maintain office hours and communicate via email
- Accommodate special needs students
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 4000 hours welding experience in industry and welding certification(s)
- 2000 hours welding experience with an Associates of Applied Science in Welding Fabrication Technology or Bachelors of Science in Welding Engineering
- Certified Welding Inspector preferred
Qualifications
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Benefits
The position is exempt from overtime pay and is not grant-funded. Benefits are commensurate with experience.
Pay
Rate of pay per contact hour: 2025 - Less than Master's = $1069; Master's or above = $1109
Schedule
Hours vary and may include day, evening, and weekend responsibilities. Courses are taught in a classroom setting and may involve a lab component. Please indicate your availability in your cover letter.
