Welding Adjunct Instructor - Fall 2026

About the Position

Mountain Gateway Community College is seeking experienced Welding Instructors to deliver high-quality instruction in evening classes, providing students with hands-on training and theoretical knowledge in welding techniques, safety protocols, and industry standards. Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging welding curriculum for evening classes
• Ensure a safe learning environment adhering to safety regulations
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper safety protocols are followed
• Collaborate with program staff to enhance course offerings

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in welding, fabrication, or related trades
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to student success and safety

Additional Considerations

• Certification or credentials in welding (e.g., AWS Certified Welding Inspector or equivalent) preferred
• Prior teaching experience
• Associate Degree

Pay

$795 – $1200 / credit hour depending on years of experience and education
