Weekend Food Service Supervisor 11AM-7PM

About the role

Park Nursing Home is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to join their Food and Nutrition Services Team. The position oversees the dietary department of both a rehabilitation center and a skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities

• Directs the overall operation of Food and Nutrition Services on weekends.
• Ensures quality nutritional services are provided on time and accurately based on resident diet tickets.
• Maintains department cleanliness, safety, and sanitation in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Completes all food inventories.
• Ensures refrigerators, freezers, and food temperatures are properly maintained and recorded.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in Hospital or LTC as a food service supervisor.
• Must be ServSafe or Local food handlers certified.
• CDM certification is highly preferred.
