Food Service Supervisor Weekends

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Highfield Gardens Care Center in Great Neck, New York. The supervisor will lead the food service team on weekends, ensuring meals are prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner, while managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and safe food service environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise food service staff on weekends, ensuring meals are prepared and served according to established standards.
• Manage inventory, order supplies as needed, and maintain a clean and organized food service area.
• Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of residents.
• Liaise with dietary personnel to ensure food is prepared and served in accordance with established standards.
• Maintain accurate records of food service operations, including inventory, meal counts, and resident feedback.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including food safety and sanitation standards.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a food service or healthcare setting (preferred).
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills, with the ability to lead a team on weekends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff.

Schedule

Weekends, 8 am – 5 pm.
