About the role
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) providing home care services.
Responsibilities
- Providing direct patient care, including personal hygiene, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation
- Administering basic nursing care and prescribed exercises under supervision
- Preparing meals considering client preferences and special diets
- Offering companionship and engaging in activities tailored to individual needs
- Performing light housekeeping tasks and maintaining accurate records
- Monitoring and reporting changes in clients' physical or psychosocial condition
- Completing tasks through EVV app or time sheets, demonstrating dependability and punctuality
- Supporting client independence within their abilities and respecting their privacy and rights
- Adhering to the Plan of Care and notifying supervisors of concerns, abuse, or neglect
Qualifications
- Current certification with DFS
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Effective communication skills, including reading, writing, and following directions
- Physical ability to perform tasks like lifting, bending, and standing
- Sympathetic attitude toward patient care
