Weekend CNA - Part-Time

About the role

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for home care services, primarily providing patient care in clients' residences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care, including personal hygiene, grooming, and mobility assistance.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and prescribed exercises under supervision.
• Prepare meals considering client preferences and dietary needs.
• Offer companionship and engage in activities tailored to individual interests.
• Perform light housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Maintain accurate records and document changes in clients' physical or psychosocial conditions.
• Complete tasks using EVV apps and adhere to the care plan, ensuring confidentiality and privacy.
• Follow the plan of care strictly, avoiding medication administration.
• Report any abuse, neglect, or unsafe conditions immediately.

Qualifications

• Current certification with DFS.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Effective communication skills, including reading and following instructions.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing.
• Compassionate attitude toward patient care.

The role involves travel within a designated area, with physical demands including lifting approximately 50 lbs. The position focuses on providing quality, personalized home care, with no guaranteed hours or assignment duration.
