Weekend CNA - Part-Time

About the role

Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) providing home care services on weekends, delivering direct patient care in clients’ residences.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and mouth care.
• Support patient transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Deliver basic nursing care and prescribed exercises under supervision.
• Prepare meals considering client preferences and dietary needs.
• Offer companionship and engage in activities tailored to individual interests.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Maintain accurate records, report changes in client condition, and adhere to care plans.
• Use EVV (Electronic Visit Verification) apps and timesheets for task documentation.
• Ensure client confidentiality, safety, and respect client rights.

Qualifications

• Current certification with DFS.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting.
• Compassionate attitude toward patient care.

The role requires physical stamina, dependability, and adaptability to various client environments, with travel within a specified area. The position involves direct patient care, with no guaranteed hours or assignment length.
