Role Overview
Seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for home care services, providing direct patient care in clients' residences.
Responsibilities
- Personal hygiene assistance
- Transfers, repositioning, and ambulation support
- Basic nursing care and prescribed exercises
- Meal preparation considering dietary needs
- Companionship and engaging activities
- Light housekeeping
- Accurate documentation of care activities and client condition
- Adherence to the Plan of Care and confidentiality protocols
- Use of equipment such as blood pressure cuffs and stethoscopes
Qualifications & Skills
- Current certification with DFS
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions
- Physical ability to lift approximately 50 lbs., bend, and stand
- Compassionate attitude towards patient care
Key Duties
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality home care
- Maintain accurate records and report changes
- Assist clients in maintaining independence within their abilities
- Travel within a designated area as needed
- Follow all policies, including confidentiality and safety protocols
