About the role
We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for home care services, providing direct patient care in clients' residences.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with personal hygiene, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation
- Administering basic nursing care and prescribed exercises under supervision
- Preparing meals considering dietary needs
- Offering companionship and engaging activities
- Performing light housekeeping tasks
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting changes in clients' conditions
- Adhering to the Plan of Care and completing tasks via EVV app
- Upholding patient confidentiality and reporting any abuse or unsafe conditions
Key skills and qualifications
- Current certification with DFS
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing
- Empathetic attitude toward patient care
Physical demands
- Lifting up to 50 lbs
- Working in varied environments with travel within a specified area
Note: No medication administration is permitted, and assignment lengths are flexible based on caseload and availability.
