About the role
We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide home care services primarily on weekends.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including personal hygiene, transfers, repositioning, and assisting with prescribed exercises
- Prepare meals considering dietary needs
- Offer companionship and engage patients in activities
- Perform light housekeeping
- Maintain accurate records and report changes in the patient’s condition
- Follow the Plan of Care, ensure patient confidentiality, and handle equipment such as blood pressure cuffs and stethoscopes
Qualifications
- Maintain active CNA certification
- Effective communication skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Compassionate attitude towards patients
- Adaptability to various client environments and travel within the area
