About the role
We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for home care services, primarily providing direct patient care in clients' residences.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with personal hygiene
- Assisting with transfers and mobility
- Administering basic nursing care and prescribed exercises under supervision
- Preparing meals aligned with dietary needs
- Offering companionship and engaging activities
- Performing light housekeeping and documenting care activities accurately
- Reporting changes in the patient's condition and adhering to the care plan
- Using equipment such as blood pressure cuffs and stethoscopes
Requirements
- Maintain CNA certification
- Physical strength to perform lifting and other physical tasks
- Effective communication skills
- Compassionate attitude
- Ability to adapt to diverse patient environments
- Travel within a designated area is required
- Dependability
- Respect for patient privacy
- Adherence to care protocols
- No medication administration involved
