About the role
We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for home care services to provide direct patient care in clients' residences.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal hygiene care such as bathing, grooming, and mouth care
- Support transfers, repositioning, and ambulation
- Administer basic nursing care and prescribed exercises under supervision
- Prepare meals considering client preferences and dietary requirements
- Offer companionship and engage in activities based on individual needs
- Perform light housekeeping duties
- Maintain accurate documentation and report changes in clients' conditions
- Adhere to the Plan of Care and complete tasks via EVV system
Qualifications
- Maintain certification with DFS
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending
- A sympathetic attitude toward patient care
Physical demands
Handling patients with varied needs and environments, requiring dependability, punctuality, and respect for patient privacy.
