Responsibilities
- Provide professional services for water/wastewater engineering projects to include planning, study, design, and construction administration
- Manage performance and provide mentorship of assigned project team members including Project Engineers, Junior Engineers, and Technicians
- Maintain existing client relationships and develop relationships with prospective/new clients
- Identify, evaluate, pursue, and manage project opportunities
- Provide quality control and quality assurance on all project work
- Maintain budgets and schedules of project assignments
- Cook up and attend internal and external meetings
Requirements
- Basic Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field
- Registration as a Professional Engineer in Colorado or ability to obtain within 6 months
- 8+ years consulting experience in water
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to travel as required for project/client responsibilities and business development
- Ability to work remotely and manage projects, clients, and project team members
- Prior project management experience
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in civil engineering or related field preferred
- 10+ years consulting experience for municipal water/wastewater systems
- Proven client relationships
- Knowledge of CDPHE design standards
- Knowledge of CDPHE water regulations and permitting
Skills
- Physical ability to walk up to 3-miles on uneven terrain
- Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
- Occasional climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and twisting
- Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling light to moderate amounts of weight
- Inspection of equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects
- Occasional evenings and weekends with overtime expectations varying with workload
- May require occasional overnight stays out of town

Pay
Anticipated Starting Salary: $98,100 to $119,900 DOE (Compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, etc.)
