Job description: The Warranty Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and replacing products covered under warranty while providing responsive and professional service to customers. This position combines customer service, technical troubleshooting, warranty administration, and hands-on repair work. The Warranty Technician will communicate with customers to coordinate repairs or replacements, process warranty claims, order necessary parts and supplies, perform repairs, and maintain accurate records of completed work and follow-up needs. Primary Function: Diagnose, repair, or replace products covered under warranty while ensuring customers receive timely and professional service. Responsibilities: Respond to customer warranty inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channelsTroubleshoot product issues and determine warranty eligibilityProcess warranty claims and maintain accurate records in company systemsCoordinate repairs, replacements, and parts shipments as neededDocument customer interactions and resolutionsWork closely with internal departments to resolve product and service issuesTest, inspect, and evaluate returned products when necessaryAssist with repair and maintenance of products using hand and power toolsMaintain organized warranty and repair recordsProvide exceptional customer service while resolving customer concerns professionallyPerform other related duties as assigned to support the ongoing needs of the organization Requirements: Proven experience as a technician or in a similar rolePrevious customer service experience (Preferred)Comfortable speaking with customers by phone and handling technical inquiriesMechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills preferredStrong technical knowledge and understanding of product and NetSuite (Preferred)Experience using hand tools and performing minor repairs is a plusStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailEffective communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to work independently or as part of a teamAbility to work in a fast paced environmentFine motor skills or hand-eye coordinationCigar Accessories brand knowledge: 1 year (Preferred) Education: High school diploma or equivalent
