Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Warranty Technician to support our Commercial New Construction division. This role is responsible for addressing post-construction issues covered under warranty in newly completed commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of construction trades, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to warranty service requests in newly constructed commercial properties (e.g., office buildings, schools, multifamily complexes).
- Diagnose and repair a variety of post-construction issues.
- Conduct inspections to verify installation quality and compliance with project specifications.
- Coordinate with property managers, general contractors, and internal teams to schedule and complete repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, materials used, and time spent.
- Provide feedback to construction and quality control teams to help reduce recurring warranty issues.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and warranty policies.
- Represent the company professionally on job sites and during client interactions.
- Support our controls division when needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school training preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in commercial HVAC Service/Start-up, or warranty service.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
- Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working on large-scale commercial construction projects.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus.
- EPA Certification
Working Conditions
- Work is performed on-site at newly completed commercial construction projects.
- May involve working in mechanical rooms, rooftops, crawlspaces, or other challenging environments.
- Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required to meet service demands or project deadlines.

Pay
Wage Range: $25/HR - $35/HR Depending on Experience
