Warranty Technician

Your Contribution

As a Warranty Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the warranty process, including:

• Claim review
• Customer communication
• Returned-part evaluation
• Failure analysis
• Root cause investigation
• Reporting

You will work closely with customers and cross-functional teams to resolve warranty concerns, drive corrective actions, and improve product quality.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Receiving, inspecting, and evaluating returned parts
• Conducting Level 1 failure analysis and testing
• Preparing reports and documentation related to warranty investigations
• Supporting root cause analysis and corrective action activities
• Monitoring warranty metrics and maintaining accurate records
• Collaborating with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and customer teams
• Participating in customer meetings and technical discussions as required

Your Experience & Qualifications

• ASE certification or equivalent
• Ability to work hands-on to test or evaluate returned parts
• Able to stay organized with both parts, equipment, and data
• Able to complete data entry with accuracy and prepare reports for tested components
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong ability to perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions
• Experience with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Experience with warranty systems of the vehicle OEMs (GM, Ford, Stellantis, Mercedes-Benz, Paccar, BMW, Nissan, Toyota, Honda, etc.)
• Knowledge of IATF16949, ISO9001, and customer-specific requirements
