Warranty Technician
Your Contribution
As a Warranty Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the warranty process, including:
- Claim review
- Customer communication
- Returned-part evaluation
- Failure analysis
- Root cause investigation
- Reporting
You will work closely with customers and cross-functional teams to resolve warranty concerns, drive corrective actions, and improve product quality.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Receiving, inspecting, and evaluating returned parts
- Conducting Level 1 failure analysis and testing
- Preparing reports and documentation related to warranty investigations
- Supporting root cause analysis and corrective action activities
- Monitoring warranty metrics and maintaining accurate records
- Collaborating with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and customer teams
- Participating in customer meetings and technical discussions as required
Your Experience & Qualifications
- ASE certification or equivalent
- Ability to work hands-on to test or evaluate returned parts
- Able to stay organized with both parts, equipment, and data
- Able to complete data entry with accuracy and prepare reports for tested components
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong ability to perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions
- Experience with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience with warranty systems of the vehicle OEMs (GM, Ford, Stellantis, Mercedes-Benz, Paccar, BMW, Nissan, Toyota, Honda, etc.)
- Knowledge of IATF16949, ISO9001, and customer-specific requirements
