Responsibilities
- Facilitate cross-functional project meetings, compile project status reports, coordinate project schedules, agendas, minutes and correspondence.
- Identify and analyze system requirements, and define project scope, requirements, and deliverables involving multiple stakeholders.
- Lead the resolution of warranty related issues – accountable for problem-solving process, proposed solution, validation, and weekly progress.
- Lead Triage for assigned engines – warranty claims analysis, conduct vehicle and component level analysis and testing, support Stellantis/Suppliers review at Quality Engineering Center and Manufacturing locations.
- Establish short and long-term containment actions for warranty issues.
- Travel to engine/vehicle plants and supplier locations locally, domestically and occasionally internationally to investigate parts, vehicles and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably mechanical engineering
- 5+ years of experience in Product Engineering or Product Development of Internal Combustion Engines
- 2+ years of experience in testing/validation/test method development, including fixture design, instrumentation, data acquisition, etc.
- Strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills
- Well-rounded automotive knowledge and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and able to manage unionized workforce
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically MS Excel and Project
- Working knowledge of Teamcenter
- Working knowledge of GD&T and understanding full detail on drawings
Qualifications
