Warranty Administrator

About the role

This position is responsible for overall coordination, processing, and reimbursement of all Liebherr warranty programs for the Saline, MI facility. The Warranty Administrator provides effective warranty support to all internal customers by utilizing excellent communications and coordination efforts for maximum LSL reimbursement while maintaining an in-depth knowledge of product and support programs. This individual must handle multiple issues and priorities while also facilitating resolution to recurring issues and continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Administers the commercial warranty process for maximum return of monetary compensation.
• Conducts investigations and researches data to confirm or deny warranty eligibility.
• Attends meetings and prepares various reports, including the Monthly Warranty Report.
• Submits claims for reimbursement to OEM and third-party suppliers.
• Performs credit reconciliation and audits repair orders for reimbursement and special commercial conditions.
• Challenges claim rejections and performs pre-invoicing reconciliation.
• Processes claims for services performed at customers’ facilities.
• Recognizes patterns and potential issues to minimize adverse impact and maximize financial benefit.
• Performs any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with 2-3 years of experience in a related field required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience in the aviation industry preferred.
